That was a first! The Theme from ROCKY was played at a funeral as the casket was being removed from the church!! ( It was quite epic as the flags from the nations that were touched by the ministry were raised to honor a man who laid down his life to serve them.) It was so very appropriate and went with the eulogy - We Go Up From Here....... Wow - What a day. The Life Celebration Service of Bishop David R Huskins caused so many things to stir up inside me concerning dreams, visions, purpose, balance, legacy, and relationships. I feel as though I could write for hours and I am most likely being nudged by the Holy Spirit to do just that. I want to thank Chris Daigle and Nita for wonderful worship. Also to Reba Rambo-McGuire , Dony and Destiny for doing the same... The words by Lynn Hiles,were Mark Chironna were loaded with love, honor, and loss. I was blessed to see Jim Swilley who is always so kind. To Neil Hopper - Thank you for making that extra effort to thank Stan Coates and me for coming. We would not have missed it. David was a friend and such an encourager. So few of those in the world... a treasure was buried today. That is for certain.
