That was quite an experience! We took our luggage to the airport in Aruba by car and checked it in. When we came back our car was gone!! It had been towed away because it was left unattended at a place it shouldn’t have been and we had to pay to get it back. After that we got stuck in the traffic, because of the election campaigns in Aruba and then we had to rush to get back to the airport. They told us we had to wait in line and wouldn’t be able to catch our flight. But one nice person helped us through & first told us our flight would be re-scheduled and he told the attendant to take us off the flight. But then came back and said if we’d really rush we might be able to catch it, 2 minutes to go… So we had to run and overtake all people queuing everywhere but got there just in time. And then the plane engines didn’t start, so we had to wait for more than half an hour. But thankfully we did catch our plane in a miraculous way and are on our way…
