That’s right- the former Brazil and current Sao Paolo shot stopper has scored more goals in his illustrious career between the sticks than many strikers ever do. Granted, all of his strikes have been penalties and free-kicks, but his now 111-goal haul remains a remarkable feat that will probably never be repeated. Football fans love to see a sumptuous set-piece, and players like Andrea Pirlo, Juan Roman Riquelme, Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and more are all rightly famed for their dead-ball expertise. But after 21 years as a goalscoring goalie, surely Rogerio Ceni should be considered their equal?
