The 10 Commandments given to Moses at Mt. Sinai and written with Gods own fingers on two tables of stone are the REITERATION of the Law which obviously Adam & Eve have broken themselves against. The Bible clearly says, sin is the transgression of the Law THE QUESTION IS, WHY WOULD ADAM & EVE BE GUILTY OF SIN IF THERE WAS NO LAW? Moreover, WHY WOULD SATAN BE GUILTY OF SIN IF THERE WAS NO LAW? It was necessary that God reiterated HIS LAW because mankind has separated from God such that the knowledge of what leads them to LIFE (i.e. the Law) was lost and have condemned themselves to eternal banishment from the presence of God. We all know the consequence of Lawlessness. It is not a happy situation, and it is never a peaceful life. In fact in our human way of resolving Lawlessness we form governments that we rely on to implement laws for the work of making our communities become orderly, peaceful, and productive and prosperous.
