The 3 hour was a manic affair for the team , my 4th Endurance race this year and my third wet race!! The team of Paul Gilbert Austin Boden and Tarran Mackenzie in the pits was superb , as we had to cope with last minute bike and tyre changes,strategy etc etc, anyway started dry with Taylor Mckenzee taking the lead after 3 or 4 laps , I took over for my stint in the dry and within 3 laps it was raining properly whilst I was on dry tyres , pace car incident halfway through and we pitted and put wets on my bike and went to a one bike 2 rider plan... we then rode the rest of the race and Taylor Mackenzie did an incredible stint in the rain to put us back in the lead and it left it to me to consolidate the position which I managed to do.. Ended up winning with a comfortable margin and the endurance race monkey off my back.. Massive thanks to the guys in the pits who played as big a part in winning as the riders!
