The 5 volunteers for the Pepper Spray Experiment were all Martial Artists. We agreed all of the products we tested were effective. I currently sell Mace Pepper Spray as they were rated the leading pepper spray in the industry last year, they have great customer service and I like their Flip-Top dispenser. The cone pattern makes it easier to hit your target, but you have to worry about blowback which you saw in the last experiment (especially in a windy climate). As you could see, the two Stream Pattern Sprays by Mace were highly effective and I had no problem targeting the eyes, nose and mouth. *** Always have your pepper spray readily available. In our scenario-based training, I have yet to see a participant who was able to retrieve their pepper spray from a purse or pocket in a violent encounter.
