The 6 day Gashu Ku has ended. It was 6 days of hard training in Sansei Goju Ryu Karate and Kobudo. Sensei Anika gave an awesome performance in her 4th Dan Grading. Her technique, thesis and test was of utmost standards. Her Tamashiwara was painful but she managed to break the around 90mm board with Yoko Geri. Sensei Anika is the first South Africa Sansei Goju Ryu Ladies Yondan and was bestowed the title of Renshi. Well done. To my son Nico whom obtained his Shodan. I am proud that you have completed the 5 hour grading session. To all of my members and parents thank you for your love, help and support. To my mom and wife thank you for all you have done. Jackie, Rudie, Netta, Rina and Caren for your support. To all other parents thank you. Yoshu Michael thank you for your instruction.
