The 60 Second Sermon Friday August 2nd 2013 Your Song What is your song? What kind of song are you singing? Each of us is singing a song of praise to the Lord! We call this song our life! We are writing and singing that song as we go! Some literally do sing or play musical instruments. Others build roads and buildings, write books, drive trucks, teach children, pastor churches, work in grocery stores, compose poetry, serve in the military, protect and serve in the police force, work in some kind of ministry, or work in any number of other occupations! In addition, we are all in relationship with one another. We do this in families, churches, and places of business. We engage with each other within families, friendships, marriages, and in many, many other forms of relationship. We are writing our song of praise to our Lord Jesus Christ with all of these things that we do! How is your song coming along? Is your song a Love song? Are you singing of triumph and victory in the Lord? Is your song as beautiful as you would like it to be? If not, it is okay; Jesus has a big eraser that He is willing to use on your behalf. Tell Him that you believe that He is the Risen Savior and Son of God. Tell Him that you are sorry for the unpleasant parts of your song, and that you want to begin writing your song more beautifully today! Tell Him that you want His will for your life! He will completely erase all of the poorly written parts of your song! He give you the heart of a master composer and He will help you to write the most beautifully poetic song you can ever imagine! The more of us that join together after we turn our lives over to Jesus, the more beautiful the whole worldwide chorus becomes! Let’s put together a mighty and beautiful orchestra of lives dedicated to the praise of our Lord and Savior! Whatever your song, come; sing with me in Praise of Him! Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Jesus Christ the risen King, Son of God, and Savior of all who would come! Thank You! Psalms 28:7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him. God Bless You! With Love, Brent
