The 7th Pound dog rescued by Argos Sotiris is the name of the 7th pound dog rescued by Argos. Sotiris went straight into an Argos Foster home due to a deformity on his front left leg. We really dont know his story, how he ended up in the pound, how he survived the pound life... A very sad story must have been because Sotiris was not able to walk really... He had the feeling that he had a leg there and when he was walking he was falling down... Sotiris has already been checked by vets and it is agreed that he will have a big surgery to remove/amputate what appears to be a left leg so he can have a normal life with 3 legs. At this point we would like to say a big THANK YOU to the foster mum Maria-Christina! Maria-Christina has been an Argos supporter/volunteer for many years, has adopted 3 Argos dogs (one of them with 3 legs!!!) and she is an experienced dog trainer. Sotiris is in good hands! When all these are over, Sotiris will be up for adoption. He is a very small mix-breed... more pictures and info will be provided soon. (Nicos)
