The AFL Indigenous Round kicked off last tonight with Sydney Swans taking on Geelong Cats. Tonight we will see St Kilda Football Club clash with Collingwood Football Club at Etihad Stadium in Melbourne. The AFL has been a key player in the fight against racism and is a big supporter of reconciliation. St Kilda Football Club has today officially joined the movement to recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the Australian Constitution, by joining the Recognise campaign. Get behind your team this Indigenous Round during #NRW2014 and show your support for an Australia that is free of racism. Sport has the capacity to break down barriers and bring people together. And the Indigenous Round is an important step in celebrating Australia’s Indigenous culture.
