The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, Wednesday suspended indefinitely its National Executive Council meeting over the sudden death of its former national Chairman, Prof. Festus Iyayi who died in a fatal auto-crash along Lokoja – Abuja federal Highway Tuesday. Prof. Festus Iyayi,66, died after the vehicle he was travelling in had a head- on collision with a security vehicle attached on the convoy of Kogi State Governor, Captain Idris Ichala Wada at a village near Lokoja . Iyayi was on his way to Kano for the National Executive Council meeting.
