The Affordable Health Care Act I made inquires about the - TopicsExpress

The Affordable Health Care Act I made inquires about the affordable health care act and received a telephone call from a broker today. He seemed quite anxious to have me signed up and he also (without reservations told me that he was a republican and he did not vote for President Obama). I have not heard from any other insurance broker or other insurance companies and I am pondering why this is so. He further stated that the price will go up because the plans include everything including maternity . I am of a certain age and my wife is past child bearing years therefore this option can be excluded by the broker, I am sure it was not the intent of the framers to have couples pay for services that they do not need. Cobra is taken by all and the cost is $600 per month. During my employment I paid $600 per month for health coverage that did not include options I did not want. The Affordable care act cost about the same with similar deductible. Somehow his price quotes kept getting higher and he would not tell me if there were cheaper options. So far I have not seen anything of concern but I need all the information and current insurance benefits cost to make a comparison. I think young people need health insurance and some colleges in New York have included a Blue Cross Option in their brochure. If a young man meets in an accident he needs health insurance and different illness can affect any age person. There is no need to be charging them higher premiums to offset imagined overhead costs. The fines are questionable but is a method of enforcement to guarantee safety of public health. If a young working person has no insurance and he becomes ill the state or Feds pick up the cost. This is a cost added for a person who could have contributed to his/well being. If a person is unemployed then the government should adsorb the cost of providing health insurance until there is re-employment. Under affordable care undocumented immigrants may be able to provide healthcare for themselves and their families. Let tell my illustrious Republicans about the possibilities from undocumented immigrants who arrive by the pipeline without proper screening. General Diseases Tuberculosis, influenza, hepatitis B and C, dysentery, dengue fever, indulgent fever, resistant malaria fever, parasites, cholera, HIV, VD, and many more. Its good to he haw about not providing services for undocumented workers but an outbreak is more costly and they are essential humans. Anomalies can be addressed at any time down the road but in the meantime there is the need to raise the debt ceiling and put people back to work. The health Policy have no effect on determination of the economic progress of the country and it is creating new jobs. Government picks up health cost of addicts, treatment, rehab, housing and food. Seem to that something that I am paying for must be helping the economy. For those doctors who do not like it I would like to know what are their reasons. Is it that there is an aversion to government policies and regulations. If we do not have more doctors to man the new system; I ask the question- Did a President pay Downstate Teaching Hospital in New York to stop training general practitioner. I know what to do -I write.
