The African American Mayors Association hosted a networking reception for senior African American Government officials in the White House and African American business men and women attending the Annual Legislative Conference - Congressional Black Caucus. We had an opportunity to meet with businessmen and women interested in the offshore oil and gas exploration along the East African Coast. During this reception I had an opportunity to have a brief conversation with Albert R. Grace, Jr, President of Loop Capital where we discussed the opportunities in Mombasa. We both agreed that the United States of America has the largest population of Africans outside of Africa and as a community continues to seek for opportunities to connect with entrepreneurs in Africa.
