The African Muzik Magazine Awards (Afrimma) is a new awards ceremony that caters to all musical genres in Africa and its diaspora, not only popular genres but also traditional and gospel. Its about honouring the best African musicians, producers, video directors and DJs. The ceremony will take place on 26 July at the Eisemann Center in Richardson, Texas, USA. The nominees have just been announced - and now is your time to vote! Congratulations to Best Newcomer nominees Stanley Enow Official (Cameroon), Nakhane Toure (South Africa), Joey B (Ghana), PHYNO (Nigeria), Eddy Kenzo (Uganda) and Sage (Kenya). In the Best African Group category, the nominees are P-Square- The Official Page (Nigeria), Mafikizolo SA (South Africa), R2BEES (Ghana), Bracket (Nigeria), Radio & Weasel (Uganda), Toofan Officiel (Togo) and Sautisol (Kenya).
