The Ag. Gov Ahmadu Fintiris Campaign Rally that took place at Demsa LG Pavillion was a beauty to watch from the far. I commend whoever or who were behind the putting in that enabling ground. Thats a job welldone. That said, its not all that well after noticing the way and manner some of the old and young brand of stakeholders gimmicked before and on the day of the occassion. The party (PDP) is somewhat seem to be controlled by some top notchers, whore totally either incapicitated physically, morally or otherwise. One cant pathom the reasons why some would like to hold onto their juglars simply they want to be seen as relevant. What am I saying? It seems the business of the party is been toised with as one Yola old stakeholders hand is at interplay at most of the time flexing his weak muscles by all means to single handedly control the party. This never a positive development for the progress of the party. All these had their genesis when PDPs restructuring was to be done through Amb. Damagums led team. Most the party executives from the unit to LG level was somewhat a one mans business. Considering the number of intelligent and vibrant crop of politicians in the LG Area, one would wonder why the monopoly being showcased. At this time, when the LG is looking onto wholl lead positively reverse is the case. Two or more hands are better than one, so says the adage. Its expected as earlier suggested in my post that, for the LG to move towards positive paths, the need to convey a conferrence where dark issues bedevilling the LG be discoursed. Or alternatively, there should be representatives atleast two from each unit men or women of outstanding status to be the stakeholders of the party at the LG level, while atleat five from the ward level of which, two must be women capable of representing the LG at state stakeholders meetings. By restructuring this stakeholders representation, will atleast solve the inequality been exhibited. Another issue of total dismay, is the way and manner some stakeholders usually conduct themselves. I cant believe what I saw at the end of the rally.The protocol was about to be thwarted due to some improper conduct of the LG. outlines were, but the timely intervention of the SSS solved the disagreeing factions. The Ag. Gov and his top aides and entourage were billed to be accorded a dinner in the House of Chief ( Hon.) Felix Tangwami, but was about to be reverted to a different place that wasnt sanctioned, thereby resulting to claims who amongst those involved is of more relevant and befits hosting the dinner. With this show of impropriety and show of shame, one would wonder if the affairs of the party or the LG is a one mans business? And going along this trend will never augur well for the party in the area, until this type of undermined behaviours are addressed disaster may likely creeple in. And to those who take the party and the LG onto themselves as a personal entity must understand that, theyre peoples representatives only expected to put an ear to the ground to hear what the people say, this is what is called - democracy. Finally, my advise to all those returnees to the party after been awol be of more contentious by way of giving their best to the party, as this is the only way they could be tested and to be trusted in future undertakings of the party.
