The American comic actor and writer Sid Caesar died yesterday aged 92. In the NFSA Library we have a collection of press clippings about his 1976 appearance in the ABC/Transatlantic Enterprises television movie Barnaby and Me. Produced by Matthew Herman and Gene Levitt, Sid Caesar played a US con man who gets involved with a young Australian girl, her talking pet koala, and a bunch of Australian criminals. The show also starred Juliet Mills, Sally Boyden, Hugh Keays-Byrne, Rangi Nicols, James Condon, Ivar Kants, Bruce Spence, Terry Bader and John Newcombe.
