The Art of Jewish Family Services is rendering Help, Hope & Humanity to those in need of any faith. Over 90,000 lbs of food distributed through the Jacobson Family Food Pantry 2. 50K lbs of food donated saving the agency $49,000 3. 8,530 prepared meals delivered through the Meals on Wheels Program Financial Assistance 1. $75,000 in summer camp scholarships enabled 137 children to attend summer camp through the Center for Families and Children 2. $30,000 distributed to 41 victims of domestic abuse through the Center for Families and Children 3. A total of $420,000 in financial assistance, of which $195,000 was distributed through the Center for Families and Children Senior Services 1. 124 clients received a total of 13,798 hours of companionship through the Senior Companion Program 2. 323 Holocaust Survivors were served through our Holocaust Survivor Assistance Program and JFS spent more than $1 million dollars providing homecare, personal care and cleaning services to them 3. Over 100,000 people visited the Weisman Delray Community Center (350 each day) 4. 20 volunteer drivers provided over 2152 rides through the “Kibbitz & Ride” volunteer driving program Counseling and Mental Health Services 1. Over 6,878 sessions of counseling were provided to 544 unduplicated clients 2. 11 children received affordable psychological testing services Career & Employment Services 1. Since June, over 100 people have enrolled in the Career and Employment Services Department 2. JFS has provided 70 individual coaching sessions 3. 43 clients have found employment through the support of the Career and Employment Services Department
