The Arts are Alive and Well... A touch of rustic meets clean and modern style with House of Signs latest design and fabrication project for the Breckenridge Arts District. Over 10 years in the making, the District’s core attraction is a new multi-facility one acre arts campus, bringing together studios, galleries, performance spaces, historic landmarks, and public art, complete with decorative plazas and sculpture gardens. The build-out included the restoration of five existing historic structures, the construction of two new buildings and aesthetic improvements such as walkways, green spaces and lighting. With a focus on educational and experiential enrichment, programs include classes in textiles, ceramics, metalwork, painting, and more, in addition to hosting workshops, exhibits, artists-in-residence, and a variety of other activities for locals and visitors alike. The Town of Brecks goal of establishing itself with an international reputation, as the Rocky Mountain region’s epicenter of creativity is right on par, and we are all so proud and honored to have this unique Arts District in our back yard. We thank all town officials involved with the project for putting their trust into the creative team at House of Signs, and allowing our creativity to shine, while maintaining their vision of clean and simple style with a modern feel, but still paying homage to the historical roots of this vibrant mining town.
