The Ashley "farm version" is "Off the grid" it stands alone self sufficient not connected to water, electricity, gas or sewer. The home has achieved a 7.5 star energy rating using double glazing and an insulated slab. The home has a solar boosted electricity supply and backed up by generators. Water conservation is paramount and the toilets use creek water while the rest of the home is using tank water. Our water saving features that are standard to our inclusions were all that was needed to achieve water conservation for the tapware. The heating is via a LPG gas heater and accompanying heat transfer system. The transfer system even takes heat from the roof space and distributes it throughout the home.
