The Atterbury Cultural Film Festival will take place here next week from 22 -24 September. This forms part of the Cool Capital 2014 The other films are: Metropolar: A Pretoria audio-visual artist joins forces with a Johannesburg spoken word artist to explore the dynamics and tensions of living and creating within the contemporary South African metropolis. Featuring the talents of Modise Sekgothe and Jotam Schoeman. It will be a film, music and spoken word experience. Timeslots: 22 Sept at 20:00; 24 Sept at 18:00 Portraits of Pretoria is a collection of audio-visual vignettes celebrating the Capital City. Featuring selected short films by students, young filmmakers and professionals that offer portraits of people that stay here, the buildings they occupy, and the lives they lead in Pretoria. The programme features work by Sovereign Films, work by students of the TUT Film Programme and OW School of Film Arts, as well as an AV installation in the foyer of the site specific Pretoria Environmental Art Project. Timeslots: 22 Sept at 18:00; 23 Sept at 20:00 Tickets are R40 pp at the door.
