The Beds Too Big Without You was and still is my favourite, The Police-song, especcially the live-improvisation part. Always a very difficult thing, to give it the same spacy and intense feel to it, when playing in our tribute band, Police Brutality. But with the right people, who have the same The Police-spirit and who have fantastic instrumental skills, magic things can happen and suddenly they did on our last rehearsal. André Gerlach on guitar, playing those magic, beautiful chords and Hans de Raadt on bass, playing those spacious notes and feel. And that gives me such an energy and a long wish finally seeing fulfilled: playing Beds Too Big with just that same feel and intensity...
