The Benton County Animal Shelter has had several dogs and cats to come in this week and we need to find loving homes for these pets. August is pet adoption month and several of the dogs can be adopted at NO COST! The adoption fee for cats and kittens for the month of August is only $25.00 which includes spaying or neutering. If you adopt a dog or cat during August you will receive a free bag of dog or cat food. We will have our Open House next Saturday August 23 from 10 AM - 4 PM and will be selling grilled hamburgers, hot dogs, bake sale and a silent auction so please make plans to attend this fundraiser. The money will be used for veterinary care for the animals. We need Volunteers to come and play with the animals tomorrow starting at 8 AM.. we have several that need some interaction with people! Please consider donating some of your time.... no matter how little it will make a HUGE difference to them! Please help me to get the word out and share this to all of your friends!!!
