The Best General Manager in Egypt’ Award from the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism for the Years 2014- 2015 “A Tale of Success” With the philosophy of the team work, innovation, flair and a touch of class, Haggag Elammari accomplished an unprecedented career in the hospitality industry and won the Egyptian ministry of tourism award of The Best General Manager in Egypt for the years 2014- 2015. At someplace has frequently been characterized as the worlds greatest open air museum, on the western bank of the River Nile, Mr. Haggag Elammari was born. “It was taking up to one hour boat trip to reach the first English course in the Eastern bank of the River Nile...” Haggag commented while narrating the difficult way he led to accomplish his educational Life. Since these early moments he realized the value of learning which had a great impact in his life afterwards. Haggag was the third child in the family and he successfully received a higher education in the Faculty of Commerce. The endurance he suffered in his early educational life made of him a great insistent on facilitating the knowledge and learning for all of his team members. Since occupied the general manager position, the training process in all fields has been enhanced to reach 4000 training hours for the year 2013. Beside the internal training at the hotel departments, external training consultants and languages teachers have been invited to enrich the training objectives and to improve the quality of the provided materials. Lately the resort’s training message has expanded to include the new comers and the fresh promoted positions at The Three Corners Company. In 1991 Haggag had moved to Hurghada where his first meeting with the Family Lambrecht took place. His knowledge of accounting helped him taking over the post of receiving boy at The Three Corners Village (now The Three Corners Empire Beach Resort), and thus began his grounding on how hotels run. He worked and maintained an interest in his job. The fact that the” young boss” Christophe Lambrecht knew his efforts, and since always has given him full support and power to continue. Going quickly through the work positions, Haggag from receiving boy had reached the General Manager position of The Three Corners Fayrouz Plaza Beach Resort in Marsa Alam where he had the chance to continue his career achievement. At such time The Three Corners Fayrouz Plaza Beach Resort was not on the map between the already existing hotels in Marsa Alam, however, the resort has quickly jumped in the top five in the destination. At his early age, among the visitors from lovers of the western bank of the River Nile in Luxor, the young boy started his journey with Hospitality. This natural feeling has been mixed with his blood then produced one of Egypt’s successful hoteliers. At the period from 2008 till 2014, our resort has achieved 24 different international awards& certificates, e.g; Travelife golden, Traveler Choice on Tripadvisor, Top 25 Hotels in Egypt on Zoover, Quality Selection on Holidaycheck …etc. Even before the primary school, in “El-Kottab” - the traditional Egyptian kindergarten-, where Haggag’s talent of leadership has appeared, the young boy’s sense of leadership has been noticed very early by his masters who have predicted his abilities and used to place him on the first row. Such prediction has been repeated once again in Haggag’s life when the popular Globetrotter columnist “Ms. Mavis Bensley” met him in 2009 and wrote about the young Egyptian manager she met and his promising future in developing the hospitality management in the resort. The same way RTL Belgian TV reporters depicted while their visit at the resort in 2012. “Nothing is Too Much for Our Guest” It is Haggag’s passion for luxury, excellence and service that has set the standard for The Three Corners Fayrouz Plaza Beach Resort. Welcoming every arriving guest and seeing off every departing guest, personally, is the first task Haggag takes over in his daily routine. Registering the guest’s preferences then copying their stay experience at the resort is one of the enhancements Haggag added to the resort’s standard. Also celebrating the six’s visit by planting a tree with the guest’s name on it, added too much to the loyalty sense which has been improved until the number of the regular guests reached 45% from the total guests visited the resort. Having started from the very beginning of the career as receiving boy, Haggag focused on improving the entire team members, whom have been always been called the Golden Team, contributing new challenges for them and providing them with proper guidance in their career lives. Today Mr. Haggag Elammari, The Best General Manager in Egypt award winner, is dedicating such achievement for all the loyal guests who were the real reason beyond such success and for the superiors at The Three Corners Company as well as for the golden team members who always make it happen.
