The Beverly Ridge Lions Club annual Candy Day time is here. The Beverly Ridge Lions Club is again supporting the Vision First project in the Chicago area. The Lions have partnered with LensCrafters to hold two eye clinics each academic year for the part nine years. We have examined the eyes of 80,000 students and have provided over 60,000 pairs of glasses to the students at no charge. Lions Clubs are also supporting the Chicago Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired. A recent project was to expand the services of CRIS radio which is headed by the Lighthouse. Please stop in my office at 1903 West 103rd Street to help fill my can with donations and enjoy a roll of candy. Checks can be made out to "Beverly Ridge Lions Club." I will match funds received up to $500. Help me exceed my collections for 2012.
