The Big Doll House This is one of my all-time favorite 70s WIP (Women In Prison) films. Its right up there with Caged Heat IMHO. A group of young lovelies make a break from a sweaty hellhole in the Phillipines! This was the big one for New World Films that broke them into the Drive-in market Its all here; the showers, the groping, the well meaning doctor, the sadistic lesbian guard. All the exploitation aspects aside, this is great action film with just a smidgeon of social commentary. Cult director Jack Hill found Pam Grier for this movie, and made her a star. She even sings the great title song! Warning: This movie contains lethal amounts of boobs, blood, and violence. In other words...great!
