The Blue Jays Varsity Baseball Team got the win thanks in large part to Lintners dominant, seven-strikeout performance. The Blue Jays pitcher gave up just four hits over four shutout innings. The Jays stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the second, scoring two runs on an RBI double by Tanner and an error. After a quick strike from North Platte, the Jays responded with three runs in the sixth. The Jays scored on an RBI double by Clay, an RBI double by Stephenson, and a walk by Hollingsworth. West Platte finishes the regular season 13-6 and 8-3 in the KCI Conference. Post season for the Blue Jays starts, at North Platte, Monday night at 6:30.
