The Blue Pearl The crown chakra is rooted in the pineal gland. Inside the pineal gland is the seed of consciousness which looks like a blue pearl. It is smaller than a very tiny grain and is bright bluish violet, surrounded by gold and rainbow colors. Sometimes it looks like a blue spot or a small indigo blue sphere. This is why in India, yogis call this seed of consciousness the Blue Pearl. The blue pearl is connected to the higher soul, but it is not the higher soul. The blue pearl is like a computer terminal, while the higher soul is like the mainframe computer. Just as the terminal gives you access to the mainframe computer, by meditating on the blue pearl one can come in contact with the higher soul and have access to the inner worlds or inner universes. One can also come in contact with great beings and teachers from whom one can receive priceless teachings and blessings. Lord Krishna and the Blue Pearl. Lork Krishna is usually pictured with a peacock feather on his head. In sufism, Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism and other traditions, the peacock feather is considered a scared symbol. What is its meaning and significance? If you examine the peacock feather carefully, youll notice that it has a bluish dot surrounded by golden, green, and other colors. The eye of the peacock feather symbolizes the blue pearl, which is surrounded by a golden aura and rainbow light. By meditating on the blue pearl, one can achieve soul realiazation, illumination and oneness with ones higher soul. This is why the peacock feather is considered sacred. Lord Krishna has a peacock feather on his head so as to tell his devotees that to achieve illumination and divine oneness, one must direct ones attention to the crown chakra or pineal gland where the blue pearl is located. The higher soul may appear as a blue person. The spiritual guru may also appear as a blue person, sometimes as a blinding light. This is why in the Indian tradition, the Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu, Lorh Brahma, and Lork Krishna are shown with a blue-color skin. This does not literally mean that they have bleu skin. Blue or bluish violet is the symbol of spirituality. In the Egyptian mystery schools, some deities are also shown in blue. There are many pictures of Krishna that show him with a cobra. The peacock feather symbolizes the blue pearl. The cobra symbolizes the kundalini energy. By meditating on the blue pearl, the kundalini energy is awakened, eventually manifesting as samadhi. There will be a corresponding downpour of divine energy going to the base of the spine where the Kundalini energy is located. It is this divine energy that regulates and awakens the kundalini energy and brings it up to the brain and crown chakra. When this is done over and over again for a certain period of time, the yogi will experience illumination. In sufism, the peacock is considered a sacred symbol. The eye of the peacock feather corresponds to the blue pearl. The blue pearl is called the essence of sufism. King Ludwig II (1845-1886), who was a Catholic Bavarian monarch, was fully aware of the existence of the blue pearl. In his palace at Herrenchiemsee is a huge bronze statue of a peacock, and in his bedroom is a large cobalt blue glass ball which, when lighted looks like the blue pearl. King Ludwig II was too advanced for his time. The Holy of Holies and the Blue Pearl The Ark of the Covenant was put in the Holy of Holies in the temple of Solomon. According to 1 kings 8:6 (Lamsas Translation), And the priest brought in the ark of the covenant of the Lord to its place, into the temple, to the inner house, the Holy of Holies, under the wings of the cherubim. Through the Ark of the Covenant, Moses communed with God and received instructions from Him. Exodus 25:1,22 (Lamsas Translation) tells us And the Lord spoke to Moses saying... And there I will meet you, and I will commune with you from above ther mercy seat, from between the two cherubim which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all the things which I will command you concerning the children of Israel. The Ark of the Covenant is also known as the Ark of the Testimony (Exodus 30:6). The Holy of Holies is a small room containing the Ark of the Covenant. A room built by the hands of man cannot possibly be the Holy of Holies. In a spiritual sense, the Holy of Holies is the spirit of God within the Ark of the Covenant, for nothing could be holier that the spirit of GOD. The Ark of the Covenant with the spirit of GOD, in relation to the physical body, corresponds to the pineal gland and the blue pearl. By meditating on the blue pearl, which is inside the pineal gland, one can eventually receive guidance from ones higher soul. Probably, bery few of the advanced kabbalists and rabbis still know of this secret. Taoist Yoha and the Blue Pearl In Taoist Yoga, one of the esoteric practices is to meditate on the pineal gland and the blue pearl. Esoteric Christian Yoga and the Blue Pearl The Lord Jesus said in Luke 17:21, Neither shall they say, Lo here! Or, lo there! For, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. In modern English, it means that heaven is not here, there or anywhere, but within you. There are several interpretations: First, heaven is actually a state of consciousness. Second, The blue pearl, which is physically within you, is the gateway to heaven. In the Indian tradition, a less well-known name for the crown chakra is Brahmarantara, which literally means gateway to God. by meditating on Kether - crown Chakra or the blue pearl, one can experience heave while still having a physical body. This is the meaning of yoga. Locating the Blue Pearl The blue pearl is lodged in the crown chakra and in the pineal gland. How do you locate the seed of consciousness? Touch the tip of your right ear and the tip of your left ear. Imagine a straight line connecting them. Touch the area between your eyebrows and also back of your head. Imagine another straight line connecting them. The two lines now form a cross. The intersecting point is roughly the location of the blue pearl. The pineal gland lies behind the area between the eyebrows. The pineal gland and the blue pearl are located almost at the center of the head. Chinese and Indian Essence of Man The Sanskrit term for Kether is Sahasrara chakra. The blue pearl is called Manon Mani which literally means mental jewel. In esoteric terminology, Manon Mani is called the mental permanent seed or the seed of consciousness. Im Tamil (Southern India), it is called Poottellu varman. In Taoist yoga, it is known as bai hui, which literally means meeting point for the hundreds. In Chinese medicine, it corresponds to the accupuncture point DU (GV)20. Bai hui is the entry point of Tian (GOD) chi. The downpouring of the spiritual energy or Tian Chi is called in Christian terminology the descent of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, Kether - crown chakra is a very important spiritual center. A certain degree of physical and psychological preparations is needed to activate the Kether. To tread the spiritual path without inner and outer purifications will adversely affect the physical body and will eventually result also in psychological imbalance. This is the meaning of the verse in Matthew 917, Do not put new wine in an old wine bag. Kether and Divine Healing Kether- crown chakra is the entry point of divine energy and can be used for self-healing or for healing other people. To heal other people, the healer has to concentrate on Kether and on his hands simultaneously, and direct divine energy to the affected part(s) of the subject. In Advanced Pranis Healing and Pranic Psychotherapy, this divine healing technique is called crown-hand chakra technique. In the Christian tradition this is called laying on of hands. Some healers may mimic the external act without doing the inner practice. This will not do. It is important to concentrate on Kether - crown chakra, and to humbly invoke for God s blessings and spiritual energy. The healer, instead of energizing the affected part directly, may put his hand on the crown of the subject. Energizing the Kether or crown chakra has the effect of energizing the whole body. It is similar to pouring water on a funnel, causing the whole body to be flooded with healing energy. The First Commandment Kether corresponds to Our Father. the first phrase in the Lords Prayer. The inner meaning of the correspondence is that one should not identify oneself with the physical body or even with the desires. It is important to remember who you are, where you are from, that you are a child of God and of the Most Hight (Psalms 82:6). To identify oneself with the physical body and with the desires is to worship false gods. To be enslaved by the body and the desires is symbolized by the enslavement of the Israelites in Egypt. It is when one identifies oneself with the soul, a spiritual being connected with the higher soul, that one is liberated from enslavement. It is when you start to identify yourself with your true nature - the Buddha nature, the Christ in you, the Atma in you- that you gradually achieve liberation or freedom from enslavement. Kether also corresponds to the first commandment (Exodus 20:3, Lamsas Translation), You shall have no other gods except me. Although there are archangles and other great beings, it is important to remember that we are children of God, that we come from Him and that we should worship God, the supreme Being. The Divine Name of Kether The divine name of Kether is Ehieh, which means, I AM That I AM. In the Indian tradition this is called So Ham or Hond So. From: HAZA MIN FAZLAY RABBI
