The Book of Romans asks if the Jew has any advantage over the Gentile. The answer is Much in every way: chiefly, because that to them were committed the oracles of God.( Romans 3:1-2) The words, oracles of God, are obvious reference to the Moral Law. Any Jew who has the knowledge of the Law has the advantage of knowing the nature of sin. He knows the standards of God. He sees sin as being exceedingly sinful. The Book of Hebrews also makes reference to the oracles of God- For when for the time you ought to be teachers, you have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God...(Hebrews 5:12) The Moral Law is a foundation upon which sound doctrine stands. We ought to be teachers, and we ought to be teaching the Law to sinners. That will show them that they need a Savior. There goes another minute. Gone forever. Go share your faith while you still have time.
