The Boyd Music Festival is an excellent example of a community pulling together to bring some new life to town. On September 20, 2014, the very first Boyd Music Festival will open at 10am and run until 8pm. Great music festivals don’t just happen, the community creates these great opportunities to attract attention to the area and show off what they have to offer. There will be plenty of family friendly activities and 31 different vendors, an amazing BBQ featuring organic pasture pork and beef, plus, we have space for 6 different food and beverage vendors. We hope to add a beer garden and wine tasting if we can secure the proper permits. All of this requires startup funding. We are applying for grants but are not able to depend on them as the award notifications are not released until August. We must raise at least 50% of the costs well before that time. We are searching for Gold and Silver sponsors to help us bring this event to reality. Silver Sponsors donate $250.00 and will have their business information included in all print material, brochures, posters, banners and advertising, as well as information and links from the Boyd Music Festival website and Facebook Page, to yours. Gold sponsorship, at $500.00, will enjoy the same promotional benefits, plus, name and logo printed on festival tee shirts, advertising space on the Chamber of Commerce of Ladonias web site and Facebook Page and inclusion in the packets provided to ticket holders, vendors and entertainers. These information packets are essential for informing our out of area visitors on local amenities, banking, food and lodging, and Gold sponsors are welcome to provide their own advertising materials for inclusion, and are welcome to set up a booth at no charge.
