The Boys II Men Program was blessed with the opportunity to continue from the summer with an 8 week Fall Internship with a new group of great young men. During the last two months, our curriculum was centered on two major issues that affect our young people ever so deeply, Violence Prevention and Conflict Resolution. During these eight weeks we tackled many different issues and spoke about many different ways to resolve conflict and the one thing that stuck out with our group of young men is the belief that Education is the key. Staying in school and pursuing an education took time away from being involved with street life and promoted more productive ways to navigate through Society today. We also worked closely with the students of Harvard Law School to help our young people understand the law and their rights better due to the different events going on involving interactions between young people and police. We would like to thank Harvard Law School , The Goree House and the Benjamin Franklin Institute of Technology for all of their help, for without their support we would not have been able to give our youth such a memorable experience.
