The Bureau of Meteorology gave us these details of what to expect this afternoon in regards to the fires: A light system is creating low and variable winds around the metro coastal area at the moment. The front is expected to push through the Adelaide area mid-afternoon and be followed by fresh southerly winds between 30 and 40 km/h with stronger gusts. Thunderstorms and light showers will follow the front, with more wind surges expected tomorrow before things start to settle on Sunday.
