The Bureau of Meteorology still has a Severe thunderstorm warning in place for the Illawarra ... likely to produce large hailstones, damaging winds and heavy rainfall that may lead to flash flooding in the warning area over the next several hours. Locations which may be affected include Wollongong, Nowra. A wind gust of 101 km/h was recorded at Mudgee Airport at 1:10pm. A wind gust of 90 km/h was recorded at Camden Airport at 12:41pm. 2-3cm hail was reported around Hornsby in the Sydney Metropolitan area around 3:20pm
