The C.d.f office of Lamu East constituency has released bursaries for all the secondary schools in Lamu East benefiting all students from form one to form four in an effort to minimise school drop-out due to parents in ability to fully cater for their childrens school fees. The awarding of the bursaries to various schools was as follows:- 1. Kiunga Secondary School was awarded ksh 700,000 for 140 students to benefit. 2. Faza Secondary Scholl was awarded ksh 915,000 for 183 students to benefit. 3. Kizingitini Secondary School was awarded ksh 750,000 for 150 students to benefit. 4. Siyu Secondary School was awarded ksh 180,000 for 36 students to benefit. The disbursment of the bursaries was from this years cdf allocation.
