The California State Legislature recently passed Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFE) Reform Bill AB 1523. This is great news for the safety of the elderly who reside in residential care facilities. The bill requires assisted living facilities to carry liability insurance as a condition of licensure. The bill will now go to Governor Browns desk to be signed into law or vetoed. Please show your support for this important bill by calling Governor Brown at (916) 445-2841 and asking him to approve AB 1523.
