The Camden County Department of Public Works has scheduled roadway improvement projects benefitting motorists in several communities to begin next week. • Somerdale Road in Somerdale will be repaved from the White Horse Pike (Route 30) to the border of Voorhees Township. • In Haddon Township, Nicholson Road will be repaved from the Black Horse Pike (Route 168) to Route 130. • Other projects beginning next week include PSE&G continuing repairs to its natural gas facilities on Haddonfield Road in Cherry Hill between Maple Avenue and Church Road. During this final phase of their project, it is necessary for crews to work around the clock in order complete the necessary improvements. • Also, painting contractors will begin sand blasting and repainting the overpass that carries Route 676 over Ferry Avenue in Camden. This will require the closure of Ferry Avenue from June 3 to July 3 while they are performing their work. The exact timing of the roadwork will be determined by the weather and other factors. To report concerns on Camden County roadways, call (856) 566-2920 or visit camdencounty.
