The Capitol Region Council of Governments (CRCOG) will hold a press conference today at 11:00 a.m. in Room 1B of the Legislative Office Building, Hartford to release a new study on economic opportunities likely to be spurred by the over $1.5 billion in bus rapid transit and rail investments underway in the Knowledge Corridor. The study, Making it Happen: Opportunities and Strategies for Transit-Oriented Development in the Knowledge Corridor, was commissioned by the CRCOG on behalf of the Sustainable Knowledge Corridor Consortium, and was funded by a US Department of Housing and Urban Development Sustainable Communities Regional Planning Grant.
