The Catalans send a message to Ban Ki-moon: We will vote on November 9 The ANC continues its campaign to make the Catalan cause internationally known: Hundreds of activists unfolded a banner of 15m x 30m addressed to the Secretary-General of the United Nations claiming the Catalans right to vote on their political future. Mr. Ban Ki-moon, Catalans vote freedom on November 9. This is the message sent to the Secretary-General of the United Nations by more than 300 activists in Prada de Conflent on August 23. The aim of this action is to inform the international community that on November 9 the Catalans are going to hold a referendum on self-determination. The participants also formed a “V” for “Vote” and “Voluntat” (“Will”) with candles. This is a test for the huge human “V” that will take place in Barcelona on September 11. A message to the world. During this summer, besides numerous human “Vs” to be formed all over Catalonia, 10 huge banners are being unfurled with messages addressed to world leaders such as Barack Obama, Jean Claude Juncker, Martin Schulz, Angela Merkel, François Hollande, David Cameron, Matteo Renzi, Ban Ki-moon, Dilma Rousseff, Pope Francis and Fredrik Reinfeldt.
