The Catholic education system produces Supreme Court Justices (Alito, Scalia, Thomas, etc.) yet Protestants are told that Christian education is withdrawing from culture or not missional or something derogatory. Meanwhile, Protestants send their kids to leadership academies and youth programs but wont put them in the contexts that embody the long-term formation of a theocentric mind in all academic disciplines. Then, oddly, these same students are expected to be missional and engage culture but have not been placed in the contexts that teach them how to theocentrically pursue the meaning of their respective vocations. I dont understand it. On education, Catholics>Protestants, is that right? New York is the first city Ive ever lived where Christians have been intentionally taught by leaders to not support Christian education, K-college. I hope that changes in the near future.
