The Central Bucks Family YMCA in partnership with Central Bucks Regional Police department, TMA Community Traffic Safety Program and the Fred Beans family of dealerships invites young drivers from around the county to participate in the “Survive UR Drive; teen Distracted Driving Course”. This hands-on program was designed by teens in fall 2013 in response to an increased number of fatal, teen accidents on area roads. It includes: · panel discussion with local police, EMT’s, attorney’s and those affected by distracted driving accidents · junior and senior driver’s license privileges · “what if” scenarios · Distracted driving course complete with golf carts, impairment goggles and texting demonstration This FREE program will be held Sunday October 12, 2014 from noon to 3pm at Fred Beans Ford Lincoln Mitsubishi, Saw Mill Road & Route 611N, Doylestown, PA. It is open to teens with a learner’s permit or driver’s license. Space is limited and lunch is provided. Email [email protected] to register.
