The Cesar Chavez movie does a bit of what our educational system doesnt. People around the country dont really know much about the struggle that Cesar Chavez undertook. This intentional erasure of history shows why Chicano Studies and African-American Studies are so important for our education as a nation. The millions of farm workers that live in slave conditions and are paid slave wages are forgotten by most all of us. Hopefully this movie will serve as a window for many to get involved and improve the conditions of humanity. Not just for the farm workers, but for all of us who are suffering under the same system which is quickly eradicating the middle-class. Get everyone to see the movie, please.
