The Chasm At dusk I sit on this huge pink rock and stick my foot in the chasm wondering why it is so... It just is... says the rock it is hot during the day then it is cold at night the stress causes the rock to split and painfully crack... as imperfect as it may look the rock remains enchanted the chasm allows room for new mud new water, new plants to emerge with new life and where there is life, there is hope... chasm or not remain enchanted... says the rock. x Mariposa at Enchanted Rock 11.28.2014
