The Chief of Public Security Major-General Tariq Al Hassan announced that security perpetrations for the parliamentary and municipal elections are complete. He also announced the completion of emergency and alternative plans, personnel have also been trained on different security scenarios and will monitor groups or individuals that may try to hinder the election or effect the security and safety of citizens. He added in an interview with Last Word on Bahrain TV that there will be firmness within the law. “We are more experienced now because of accumulative expertise as we reach the fourth legislative term,” he said, adding that the security situation is now much better in Bahrain.
