The Cineworld Cinemas schedules are up for all of London for the week beginning on Friday, except nine of of the ten screens and the Sky Superscreen at The O2, Cineworld - so its not yet clear if/when The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 will be on that huge screen over the weekend (though its pretty likely). That movie comes out at midnight on Thursday (I may go to the midnight screening at Cineworld West India Quay if Im in the mood - most seats are still available, and theyre showing the first two films from 7pm if anyone wants to get up to speed), and across the whole of town the Cineworld releases from Friday are: - Get On Up (biopic about the late great James Brown starring Chadwick Boseman with Dan Aykroyd, ♥ Jill Scott ♥ and Lennie James) - My Old Lady (romantic dramedy in Paris with Kevin Kline, Kristin Scott Thomas and Maggie Smith) - No Good Deed (crime thriller with Idris Elba and Leslie Bibb) - The Homesman (western co-written by and starring Tommy Lee Jones, with Hilary Swank, Meryl Streep, Hailee Steinfeld, Officially John Lithgow, Miranda Otto and James Spader) - What We Do in the Shadows (mockumentary about a vampire household co-directed by and starring Jermaine Clement from Flight of the Conchords and co-written, co-directed and starring Taika Waititi) Also released on Friday are: - When The Game Stands Tall (sports drama with Jim Caviezel, Alexander Ludwig and Michael Chiklis) - Winter Sleep (critically acclaimed 196[!] minute magnum opus drama set in a hotel in Anatolia, Turkey, that will make a great, if gruelling, decaying-wedlock double bill with Gone Girl) Take 2 this Thursday is The Inbetweeners 2, and next week its Lucy.
