The City of London wants to officially welcome you! On Sunday, November 24th Fanshawe College international students will take part in our first-ever “International Student Welcome Day”! International students from Fanshawe, Western, King’s, Huron, Brescia, CultureWorks, London Language Institute, London International Academy, and the Thames Valley School Board will get together at Budweiser Gardens for the London Lightning basketball game. We are hoping that more than 1000 international students will attend from these institutions! The event starts at 11:45 a.m. and is expected to finish around 4pm. A detailed schedule of events will be emailed to you after you register with us. You will be able to meet the coach and the players before the game and get autographs after the game. International students will also be involved in the tipoff and half time show. It’s going to be great! This is your official invitation to attend. If you’re interested, please come to LLIs admin office to get your ticket and your food voucher. The total cost is $10.00, which is a great deal for an entire day of entertainment! Also, we would encourage you to wear some clothing from your home country. If you do not have traditional clothing, please wear a t-shirt, hat, or jersey so that everyone knows which country you represent! Thank you,
