The Clock Hotel, Surfers Paradise 9/10 Schoolies - TopicsExpress

The Clock Hotel, Surfers Paradise 9/10 Schoolies Parmy Needing to devour something other than kebabs, we took homage in the Clock Hotel, where a true ripper Parmy was served unto us. Size: as can be seen in the pic, this was no ordinary slab of chicken. Truth be told, even The Honeybadger would be served with a challenge trying to bag this bit o meat off the bone. (9/10). Taste: Taking nothing away from the size element, the taste is where this Parmy really takes flight. Upon first mouthful, I experienced intense palatial assault as I struggled to cope with the diverse range of flavours. The golden brown crisp of the chicken. The tangy tomato sauce coating. The bland but somewhat comforting texture of the melted Swiss cheese that caressed the upper surface of the meat. (10/10) Value: The value of this Parmy ($17) is undervalued much akin to how pingas are to Ben Cousins. The extremity in price may be due to inflated schoolies prices, however I am in no position to comment on this possibility. In summary, I would jump at the chance to slap down $17 every time I visited this mighty fine establishment.(8/10) Special mentions to the Chamber of Secrets boys of whom I had the pleasure of dining with on this fine Australian summers afternoon
