The Clubs new Polo Manager is arriving 24th March. Sean Dayus is a UK citizen, 41 years old, with varied experience in coaching, umpiring and polo management. He has been a member of a number of HPA Committees including those for Rules & Umpiring, the Arena and Arena Handicap Committees, the Outdoor Handicap Committee and the Coaching sub-Committee. His current UK handicap is rated as 2 Goal and 4 Goal in the Arena. Over the last two years Sean has been working as a Professional Umpire and Coach, mainly in the UK and Europe. Work includes: · The German Polo Tour and the DPV National Championships (6, 8,10 & 12 goal). · Multiple tournaments at the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club (RCBPC) in the UK (0 to 15 goal) · Matches in Sotogrande, Spain (8-12 goal) · Coaching near Johannesburg, South Africa · An exhibition match in Prague, Czech Republic From 2005 to 2011, Sean was Polo Manager at Tidworth Polo Club in UK. He has recently returned from umpiring snow polo in Austria and Italy where (as a keen skier and instructor), he has been enjoying the best of both worlds.
