The Collective NY is proud to introduce TWO of the newest members of our permanent ensemble - Naomi Warner and Lacy Marie Meyer. Both Naomi and Lacy are graduates of the William Esper Studio and studied under Bill Esper. Naomi is a familiar face, originally involved with the Collective from 2008-2011, acting and producing in some of our original productions - 360 (2008), and I.E.D One-Acts&Readings,(2009). In 2011, she began a second career in veterinary medicine and after traveling to Nicaragua to volunteer with World Vets, she began work as a veterinary nurse here in New York City. Since the Fall of 2013, Naomi came back to the Collective to work on the inaugural Collective:10, appearing in David Thigpens Turtleface. In Summer 2014, she got to reprise her role when Turtleface became The Collective NYs first film. Lacy came to The Collective in 2014 through ensemble members and the Studio and has since been actively involved on the acting and producing fronts most recently performing in the second annual Collective:10 in Craig McNultys Watertown, Mass. A stage performer since the age of five, she moved to NYC to study with the acclaimed Bill Esper after finishing her BFA in Acting from Ball State University. While in NYC, Lacy has been keeping busy - acting in the 2010 Canadian International Film Festival’s Award of Excellence Winner, “Amanda” and the 2014 festival favorite SUCK IT UP BUTTERCUP winning best lead actress in several festivals including the Hoboken International Film Festival. You can find them both in #CollectiveMondays and on Twitter @PrairieThistle and @lacymariemeyer. Welcome, Naomi and Lacy!
