The Communities of Light are based on the Eternal Divine Path. The rest of the lifestyle really is chosen by the people involved in the community. For example, one community will not have anything to do with animals. They are probably intellectuals and they just do not want to work with anything other than books, etc. They just want the part of the universe which works with the mind.
