The Concordia University Department of Art and Design presents “Two artists’ journeys: an exploration of the influence of Islamic art on a contemporary artist and a graffiti writer,” Wednesday, April 23 at 7 p.m. in the Buenger Education Center. This presentation is free and open to the public. In this presentation, local artist/printmaker James Boyd Brent and graffiti writer Joe Boyd Brent will each discuss their artistic sensibilities in the light of the influence of Islamic Art in their lives.
