The no-strings-attached tax cuts arent efficient for the goals our labour markets require and the issues with EI benefits and accessibility have just been rising at an incremental rate under successive Federal Conservative and Liberal Governments. Though we all pay for EI protection fewer than 40 percent of unemployed Canadians are actually eligible to receive these benefits.
